Pakistani singing sensation Taher Shah, in a recent blog claimed that he has won ‘American Prestige Award’ for ‘Best Lyrics’ for his (popular) single ‘Eye to Eye’.
Taher Shah’s website claims that he is the winner of the Prestige Awards of America for the best lyrics category. And no one, who has heard the song ‘Eye to Eye’, can in their right mind deny that it deserved every bit of it.
However, no one knows what kind of awards are these, as Google too didn’t help us to find them.
The popular song ‘Eye to Eye’ features Taher Shah, the song went viral on social media due to its ‘different’ lyrics. Shah with his long curly locks, dressed in a white suit with matching white shoes, in a white background with white furniture sang “sensational eyes, emotional eyes, colourful eyes, exciting eyes, fabulous eyes, spectrum eyes, human eyes, my eyes, your eyes…”.
The musical video gained attention due to its nonsensical English lyrics and how Shah depicted it in a video. Taher Shah also became a butt of joke on social networking sites for his single.
