imagePARADISE ISLAND: South Korea's Park In-Bee, trying to reclaim the world number one ranking, and compatriot Yoo Sun-Young shared the lead after Sunday's completion of the third round of the Bahamas LPGA Classic.

Park, who was overtaken in the rankings last week by New Zealand teen Lydia Ko, finished off a three-under par 70 Sunday morning to stand alongside Yoo on on 11-under 208.

One stroke off the pace as the final round began were Thailand's Ariya Jutanugarn, South Korean Park Hee-Young and American Brittany Lincicome.

Two strokes adrift were South Korean Kim Sei-Young, American Lexi Thompson and Germany's Sandra Gal.

The tournament was hit by heavy rains Thursday and is fighting to finish on time, with only six of 74 players who made the cut completing their third rounds on Saturday.

Ko became, at 17, the youngest golf world number one ever, four years younger than Tiger Woods when he reached the top of the rankings, but her slim lead could vanish after only a week if Park In-Bee wins the title.

Ko closed her third round with back-to-back birdies to stand five strokes off the pace.
