LAHORE: Police claimed on Monday to have arrested two gangsters besides recovering booty from them.
A police team, led by SHO Sabzazaar conducted raids at various places and arrested three members of a motorcycle theft gang including its ring leader Qurban Shah alias Qurbana and his accomplice Imran alias Mani.
Police also recovered 15 motorcycles, Rs. 20,000 in cash, spareparts, a pistol and rounds from them.
Police said the accused used to steal motorcycles after jumping the walls of houses in posh areas and sell their spare parts.
SP Sadar Zahid Nawaz had announced prizes and commendatory certificates for the raiding team.
