Pop singer Madonna has been accused of using the Charlie Hebdo massacre to promote her upcoming album 'Rebel Heart'.
The 56-year old singer posted a series of photos to her Instagram to offer support after 12 people were killed in the gun attack on French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo's Paris office. Madonna offered encouraging words in the captions for her social media images; she also provided some hashtags, which were in promotion of her new album, media reported.
‘Revolution of love’ is a track of her album ‘Rebel Heart’, both of which she is used as hashtags at the end of her post.
Madonna posted both images and made sure to include the hashtags ‘Rebelhearts’ at the end of her messages. She said “We must respect all religions! But we must also respect human life!! Killing in the name of God is man's idea not God! Living for love #rebelheart”.
Madonna has been offensive with the promotion of her latest album, much of which has leaked and received scathing reviews.
