The Mangeshkar sisters Lata and Asha are all set collaborate for a song after 30 years. They will come together for ‘Ae Hawa’, a track from Lata’s label ‘LM Music’.
According to reports Lata Mangeshkar said, “It's a pleasure to come together with my sister again. I've always maintained she's a very versatile and a skilled singer. We've sung many songs together and it's always a challenge to sing with my sister”.
As source revealed Lata says that it will be difficult for them to sing together, “The thing about the two of us coming together to sing is that we are very different singers. My niece Rachna's brother-in-law has composed the number and Asha and Shaan sang it. So I decided my company LM Music along with ‘Saregama’-HMV to produce the song”.
Speaking about the veteran Bollywood actresses she said, “Rekha is very fond of me. It is my good fortune that I’ve received so much love from all the heroines that I’ve sung for from Madhubala, Nargis and Meena Kumari to Waheeda Rehman, Hema Malini, Jaya Bachchan and Rekha. We’ve always been more than professional colleagues. My sister and I have sung most of their songs”, Lata added.
