Manzoor Hussain Wassan KARACHI: Home Minister Sindh Manzoor Hussain Wassan has banned the sale and purchase of fire crackers and other material used in fireworks, according to a handout issued Friday.

He took this decision while presiding over a meeting at his office to discuss the present law and order situation in the province.

Wassan directed SHOs of all police stations to carry out a crackdown on the sellers of fireworks materials to ensure safety of the public.
