Oscar winning actress Julia Robert claimed in a recent interview that she has taken a big career risk by not having a facelift.
According to media reports ‘Pretty women’ star said, “By Hollywood standards, I guess I’ve already taken a big risk in not having had a facelift”. Reportedly, Robert further said when she was promoting her role as beauty ambassador for French brand Lancôme, “But I’ve told Lancôme that I want to be an aging model, so they have to keep me for at least five more years until I’m over 50”.
The ‘Valentine day’ actress said she loves to do yoga and feels much younger than her age would imply.
“It's about non-grasping, non-hoarding, cleaning out your closet, dusting out your mind and letting go of the things that weigh you down mentally and emotionally. There's a lightness to my life now - an airy quality of not taking things too seriously. That's happiness,” she added.
The ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ actress and her husband Danny Moder were recently honored at GLSEN’S (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) respect awards for their support of various charities and causes. Roberts starred in Murphy's 2014 television drama ‘The Normal Heart’ as a wheelchair-bound doctor who treats HIV-positive patients.
