imageLAHORE: Pakistan cricket team's suspended spin master, Saeed Ajmal has vowed to make a come back before next year's world cup by undergoing corrective measures under the able guidance of former spin great Saqlain Musthaq.

"The suspension is a set back which has not only disappointed me but also the entire nation but I am fully determined to resume my international cricket hopefully before the world cup",he told mediamen here on Monday.

Saeed said ICC ruling to suspend him from bowling came as a big shock to him as he was doing so good in international cricket. "Now I will fully composed and it would be my utmost effort to make a comeback with the help of remedial measures", he said adding "I am confident to come out of the suspension by getting benefit from the experience of Saqlain Mushtaq".

He said his entire focus will be on correcting his suspect bowling action which has been termed illegal by games ruling body, the ICC. "I will be aiming to make a comeback before the World Cup to add to the performance of Pakistan team", he added.

Answering a question he said there was no dearth of talent in Pakistan cricket and who so far will fill his void will try to live up to the expectations.

"Before World Cup Pakistan will be playing many series before the World Cup which are equally important in order to build the team for mega event and I am sure that our players will enhance their experience by performing well in the coming series", said the ace spinner.

He said the world cup will be played in Australia and New Zealand where the wickets are bouncy and it is likely that Pakistani pace battery will display their skills by putting up good performance.

He said he has established a cricket academy in his home town Faisalabad and he is endvoruing to groom talented players for Pakistan cricket.

Saeed Ajmal said it was unfortunate that lesser cricket grounds were available in the country and called for creating more cricket facilities and infrastructure across the country to provide ample opportunity to the youth to play cricket and serve Pakistan cricket in years to come.
