LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the murder of the husband of Shamim Akhtar, MPA of Muslim League-N and sought a report from Inspector General Police.
The CM directed that culprits involved in the murder should immediately be arrested and the case be investigated thoroughly.
He sympathized with Shamim Akhtar and expressed deep sorrow and grief over her husband's death.
He prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
