ISTANBUL: Turkey's lira slid to its weakest against the dollar since March 31 on Wednesday, hit by emerging market weakness, dollar strength and concerns about a routine review from ratings agency Moody's on Friday.
At 1023 GMT, the Turkish currency stood at 2.1735 against the dollar, weakening from 2.1463 late on Tuesday.
