Pakistan popular singers, actors and actresses have been working on various projects overseas and look like Pakistani talent has now been recognised globally.
With Fawad Khan, Humaima Malik and Imran Abbas making their bollywood debuts along with big stars of Indian cinema, they are getting much more popularity there with their skills and persona.
Fawad Khan will be seen with beautiful Sonam Kapoor in ‘Khoobsurat’ while Humaima Malik will sizzle along with bollywood chocolate boy Emran Hashmi in ‘Raja Natwarlal. Imran Abbas also looks promising in his upcoming movie with vivacious Bipasha Basu in ‘Creature 3D’.
According to media reports, “The actor, who starred in acclaimed Pakistani film ‘Khuda Ke Liye’, has reportedly signed his second Bollywood project with Yash Raj Films in which he will be paired opposite Kareena Kapoor”.
Imran Abbas was initially approached for the second lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish and lead in Aashiqui 2 and offered Ram-Leela as his launch pad but he couldn’t accept any offer as he was bound by contract with a production house in Pakistan, Indian media reports.
Pakistan most celebrated singer Ali Zafar has began his acting career with Bollywood film ‘Tere Bin Laden’, which was sleeper hit at the box office. He went on to star in Yash Raj Films ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, ‘London Paris New York’, ‘Chashme Baddoor’ and ‘Total Siyapaa’. He will be next seen in upcoming ‘Kill Dil’, which stars Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Govinda.
Other prominent faces of Pakistani film industry including Javed Sheikh, Atif Aslam, Meera, Veena Malik, Sara Loren, Shafqat Amanat Ali, Rahet Fateh Ali Khan, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Nazia Hasan also played a significant role in various projects overseas.
Pakistani drama series has also been admired by people living across border.
With these emerging talents and recognition among the masses Pakistani film and drama industry will see a sudden boom shortly.
