Kashmir issue should be resolved

KARACHI: Ms. Sharmila Faruqi Secretary Information Pakistan Peoples Party Women Wing has said that Kashmir is the bone of contention between Pakistan and India. “This dispute should be resolved according to the wishes of the Kashmiris. Kashmir cannot be separated from Pakistan and Pakistan Peoples Party’s Government projected it at International level and caught the attention of UNO”, she said in a message on Kashmir Day. She said that UNO had admitted the wishes of Kashmiris and they should be given their basic right of self determination. She added that the freedom movement of Kashmiris would be written in golden words and that history had been documented by them with their blood and it would definitely bring a result. Sharmila Faruqui said that it was the prime responsibility of Indian Rulers to give the rights to Kashmiris and should not play with their blood. She said that the present democratic government under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari stood on its principle stand on Kashmir’s cause and is very serious for its solution. She said that the Kashmir issue could be resolved through dialogue and on Kashmir issue all the nation was united and no solution would be accepted until and unless the Kashmiri people agreed on it.
