KARACHI: One ship arrived at the Port Qasim to offload chemical at EVTL on Friday (20th June).
Berth occupancy was maintained at 64 per cent at the Port on Friday where a nine ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey-Powership, M.V Dong Hai 7001 (Dredger), M.V Akami, M.V Hugo Schulte, M.V Venezia, M.T Bunga Akasia, M.T AL Soor II, M.T Altantik Glory, M.V Golden Trader are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, steel coils, diesel oil, chemical, palm oil and vegetable oil.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume of 106553 tonnes comprising 94303 tonnes import, 12205 tonnes export and 1344 TUEs was handled at the Port during the last 24 hours.
Departures: M.V Hugo Schulte. M.V Venezia sailed on Friday afternoon, M.T AL Soor II sailed on Saturday morning.
