Minister directs to expedite drive against hoarders: 37000 wheat bags recovered from Moro

KARACHI: A special team of the Sindh Food Department has conducted raids on two factories in Moro city and recovered 37,000 wheat bags which were illegally stored.

A special team of Sindh Food Department along with Deputy Director Food Rafiq Rajper and District Food Controller Muhammad Bachal Shah raided Moro Lal Shahbaz Factory and Ali Cotton Factory and recovered 20,000 and 17,000 wheat bags respectively, which were illegally stored there, said a statement on Thursday.

Sindh Minister for Food Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has directed the officers to speed up the campaign against hoarders.

He said that the hoarding was illegal and those who were involved in hoarding, were the enemies of the people and the Food Department would bring them to the task.
