Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Three ships arrived at port to load/offload containers at QICT, diesel oil at FOTCO, chemical at EVTL on Saturday.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 29 percent at the port. where a five ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey - Powership, M.V MSC Didem, M.T Al-Salam - II, M.T Atlantic Glory are currently occupying berths to load/offload, containers, diesel oil chemical.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume 94237 tonnes comprising 66427 tonnes import, 28810 tonnes export and (2543S) Tues was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
