LAHORE: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Ch. Barjees Tahir has said that PML-N government was endeavouring to provide all basic amenities of life to the people.
He was addressing the gathering at the inaugural ceremony of road in village Rudiana, at his constituency on Sunday, says a handout.
The minister said the PML-N government would come upto the expectations of people and would never disappoint them.
He further said the government would ensure the availability of all basic amenities to the people at their door steps.
The minister urged the international community to exert pressure on India for resolving the core issue of Kashmir and give self-determination rights to the Kashmiri people under the UN resolutions.
He said, Kashmir issue was put behind during the regime of Pervez Musharraf but Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif highlighted the issue while addressing the UN general assembly session. India is committing water aggression while constructing dams on rivers which come towards Pakistan, he added.
