KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim to load/ offload containers at QICT, rape seed at FAP on Saturday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 71% at the port on Saturday where a total of Thirteen ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey-Powership, M.V Ikam Salmon, M.V Daebo Pohang, M.V MSC Kerry, M.T Bochem Oslo, M.V Pangia, M.V Malakand are currently occupying berths to load/offload, cement, sand, containers, steel coil, rape seed phos, acid.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume 53,309 tonnes comprising 21,737 tonnes import, 31,572 tonnes export and (1682) Tues was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
M.V Panagia sailed on saturday afternoon. M.T Bochem Oslo, M.V Daebo Pohang, M.V Ikan Salmon, M.V MSC Kerry sailed on Sunday morning.
