image"Roar," isn’t Katy Perry’s only new song. While we are all certainly ‘Roar’-ing over its perfection, there is another tantalizing tune ready to deliver audible pleasure, titled ‘Who You Love.’Perry, coupled with boyfriend and blues bad boy John Mayer to release their first musical duet. The love birds really know how to go public with their so-called ‘Love,’

The couple wrote and recorded this affectionate, emotional carol, ‘Who you Love,’ for Mayer’s New Album ‘Paradise Valley.’ The song provides us with a lyrical understanding of the irresistible attraction between the two, in addition to hints on the reason behind their break-up in March, supposedly due to Mayer not being "ready" for a relationship. He serenades the newly released song with "My girl, she ain't the one that I saw coming / sometimes I don't know which way to go / and I tried to run before but I'm not running anymore / 'cause I fought against it hard enough to know / that you love who you love" articulating the fact that she is "who he loves." Meanwhile Perry responds to his undying love, with a whiff of his apparent ‘bad-boy reputation,’ chanting "My boy he ain't the one that I saw coming / and some have said his heart's too hard to hold / and it takes a little time / but you should see him when he shines / 'cause you never want to let that feeling go / when you love who you love who you love."

Perry also confesses to SIRIUSXM's Morning Mash Up "that's just a love giggle. It's like the ones that Mariah Carey had in 1990," she jokes. "I was going for that, I think I was just so happy ... You’re catching the real moment there." Having said that, she also revealed to Vogue, in June, earlier this year that she was still "madly in love" with Mayer for months following their break-up and despite his playboy reputation he possessed a "beautiful mind" but a "tortured soul." "He pulled away. That was a big hello for me," Perry mentions in the September issue of ELLE UK, "I realized I could lose the person I loved and I had to deal with some things, issues I think a lot of women have. You can be strong in one aspect of your life but submissive in another."

This beautiful concoction ends with Perry letting out a tiny cute giggle, ‘catching the real moment.’ During a concert in July, Mayer also dedicated a song to Perry saying he was utterly thankful as she had taken the time "to get to know me and love me." Perry has been dating Mayer since her sudden divorce from Russell Brand back in February 2012 whom she was also reportedly "madly in love" with. Is he really who she loves or just a rebound? We’ll find out soon enough, either way, the song is a must-listen!
