Pay raise for PIA staff hailed

KARACHI: Chief Organiser, PIA Employees Unity Front, Khawaja Ehsan Tarani has hailed the increase in salaries of the PIA's low group employees.

In a statement issued here on Monday, he thanked the top management of the airlines for 20 percent increase in the salaries of employees of group 1 to 4 despite the financial problems being faced by the airlines.

He said it was a good sign on the part of the top management of the PIA.

He advised the employees of the airlines to work hard and play their due role for the progress of the airlines.
