KARACHI: Five ships arrived at the Port to load/ offload MEG at MW-2, palm oil at LCT, furnace oil at FOTCO, Ethylene at EVTL, iron ore at IOCB on Friday, port sources said here Saturday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 79% at the Port on Friday where a total of eleven ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey- Powership, M.V Global Peace, M.T Atlantic Glory, M.V SEA Gulld, M.V Mighty Ocean, M.V Kerstin S, M.V MSC Didem, M.T Lahore, M.T GAS Chem Antarctic, M.T Bunga Melatidua, M.V Smart Jessica are currently occupying berths to load/ offload cement, Meg, containers, iron ore, palm oil, furnace oil, ethyelne.
Cargo handling operatiions were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume of 86643 tonnes comprising 59883 tonnes import, 26760 tonnes export and (2765) TUEs was handled during the last 24 hours.
M.V Kerstin S sailed on Saturday night.
M.V Lantau Arrow at Qict arrived on Saturday, as per arrival schedule.
