BowieA decade after his last album “Reality”, but sounding like he hasn’t aged a day, David Bowie is finally back in the music scene with a fresh album “The Next Day”, to be released 12th March.

Making a striking comeback not with teasers or promos, but with an actual video for the haunting, romantic single “Where Are We Now”, he took the music world by storm on his 66th birthday.

Videos for some of the other tracks are already out too. His album can now be streamed on iTunes and is enchanting audiences across the globe. Paul Smith was honored to announce the launch of an organic cotton T-shirt customized for Bowie’s new album bearing the words 'Paul Smith for David Bowie'

The album contains 14 new songs including the mellow “Dirty Boys”, 70s punk “Love is Lost”, the cute “Valentine’s Day”, the scary “If You Can See Me”, the romantic “Boss of Me”, the mournful “You Feel So Lonely You Could Die” and “The Stars Are Out Tonight”, which is a magnificent satire on today’s celebrity culture.

However; the clear winner is “The Next Day” , a glam-rock number accompanied by Gerry Leonard’s guitaring that makes you want to swagger, and screams in your face that the singer isn’t dead yet. Meanwhile, “I’d Rather Be High” and “Dancing Out in Space” are two tracks guaranteed to take fans down Bowie’s memory lane.

The Golden Globe nominee’s album is not weighed down by his past but happily utilizes it to create something unique that still manages to characterize and rediscover Bowie in his element.
