Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two ships arrived to Load/offload cement at m-w, paraxylne at EVTL on Friday.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 57% at the Port on Monday where a total of eight ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey-Powership, M.V African Eagle, M.V Tai Hawk, M.V Star Masaya, M.V HR Margaretha, M.V Dynamic Ocean, M.T Al Salam-II, M.T Bhai Ravi, are currently occupying berths to load/offload, rice, cement, paraxylene, diesel oil, iron ore pellets.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 61165 tonnes comprising 44243 tonnes import, 16922 tones export and (NIL) Tues was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.T Bhai Ravi sailed on Saturday morning, M.V Cape Flores, M.V MSC Sierra-II at Qict arrive on Saturday as per schedule.
