education1-640x480LAHORE:The Punjab Government has allocated funds with an estimated cost of Rs. 1528.47 million for the Punjab Youth Internship Programme.

Six development schemes have also been approved with an estimated cost of Rs. 3853.635 million in the 11th meeting of Provincial Development working Party of current financial year 2012-13 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Javaid Aslam.

The approved schemes include Campaign for Enhancement of Literacy in Four Districts of Punjab at the cost of Rs. 720.809 million, Up-Gradation and Development of Shrine Hazrat Bibi Pak Daman, Lahore at the cost of Rs. 581.00 million, Setting up of Centre for Energy Research and Development at University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore (Phase-I) at the cost of Rs. 292.000 million, Widening / Improvement of Pattoki to Kanganpur Road length=54.10 Kms in District Kasur at the cost of Rs. 1082.117 million, Widening / Improvement of Pirmahal Darkhana Road, length 31.00 km, District T.T. Singh (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 430.727 million and Widening / Improvement of Road from Sadiq Abad Kashmore (Sec: Dauwala Switra) District Rahimyar Khan (length: 35.00 km) (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 746.982 million.
