KARACHI: Five ships arrived at Port Qasim to load/offload containers at QICT, palm oil at LCT, phosphoric acid at EVTL wheat at FAP on December 25.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 85% at the Port on Monday where a total of seven ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey-Powership, M.V Deira. M.V Doganbey. M.T Argent Fressia. M.V Meta. M.V Beautiful-Rena. M.V Maersk Montana, M.V MSC Namibia, M.T Mire, M.T Siva Mumbai M.V Maersk Kingston. M.V Nedlloyed Darke are currently occupying berths to load/offload wheat, rice, palm oil, furnace oil, phos. acid.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 11592 tonnes comprising 84823 tonnes import, 31098 tonnes export and 5403 (TUES) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V Maersk Montana, M.V MSC Namabia, M.T Siva Mumbai sailed on Tuesday afternoon.
M.V CMA CGM Rossini, QICT, M.T AL Soor-II at FOTCO, arrive on December 26 as per arrival schedule.
