Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim carrying containers at QICT and to discharge furnace oil at FOTCO on September 15.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 28% at the Saturday where a total of four ships namely M.V Anayan Naree, M.T Harsanadi, M.T Genie, M.V MSC Jade are currently occupying berths to load/offload corn, containers, furnace oil, MEG was handled at Port Qasim last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operation were carried out smoothly at the Port Qasim where a cargo volume of 86,004 tonnes comprising 60,450 tonnes imports and 25,554 tonnes exports and 2,392 (Tues) was handled at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
