KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers were allotted berths at Qasim International Containers Terminal on Thursday.
Meanwhile three more ships scheduled to load/offload containers and weat are also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 75% at the Port on Friday where total number of eight ships namely MV.Dubai Express, Hansa Liberty, MSC Jemima, Anoushka, Ahmed Arab, BBC Emsland, K.Coral and MV. Eurosea are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, wheat, cement, project cargo, urea and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 96495 tonnes comprising 68437 tonnes imports and 28058 tonnes exports Inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2054 Containers (Boxes) were handle at the Port during last 24 hours.
