KARACHI: Three ships arrived at Port Qasim on Friday, one ships carrying container at Internationa container terminal, palm oil at LCT, Chemical at EVTL.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 50 percent at the Port on Friday where a total of seven ships namely M.T Harsanadi, M T Chem Hyandra, M.V Leopard-B, M.V Safmarine, NGA M.T PIONEER, M.V POA Vosa Wisdom, M T Sun Rise Wisteria are currently occupying berths to load/offload palm oil, cement paraxylene, MEG furnace oil and container during last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 43160 tonnes, comprising 33845 tonnes, imports and no exports 9315 was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.T Sun rise Wisteria M.T Chem Hyandra sailed on Saturday morning. M.V Ocean Prince M.T Bow Orinoco M.T ETA GAS and M.V MSC Ayala are expected to take berth on Saturday 16th June, 2012.
