KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim (PQ), carrying containers here on Thursday, June 14, said shipping activity report issued by Port Qasim Authority.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 78% at Port on Thursday where a total of eleven ships namely M.T Harandi, M.V Leopard-B, M.V Hammonia Husum, M.V NYK Kai, M.V Dobrush, M.T Pioneer, M.T Gennaro Ievoli, M.T Fuji Galaxy, CMA CGM Pucoini, M.V Liberty Sun, M.V Poa Wosa Wisdom-VI ae curreently occupying berths to load/ offload Cement, Containers, Palm Oil, Iron Ore, Furnace oil, MEG, Chemical, Fertilizer, Wheat during last 24 hours.
Cargo Handling Operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a Cargo volume 119003 tonnes, comprising 96330 tonnes Import and 22673 tonnes Export and 2919 TUES was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V CMA CGM Pucoini sailed on Thursday afternoon. M.V Hammonia Husum, M.V Nyk Kai, M.T Gennaro, M.V Liberty Sun sailed on Friday morning.
M.T Sunrise Wisteria at EVTI, M.V Safemarine Ngami at QICT, M.T Chem Hyandra at LCT expcted to take berth on Friday 15th June 2012.
