KARACHI: Five ships arrived at the Port on Saturday carrying containers at QICT, Palm Oil at LCT, Diesel Oil at FOTCO, LPG at EVTL, Cement at MW-II, a port statement said here Sunday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 57% at the Port on Saturday where at total of eight ships namely M.T Bwow Fertility, M.V Leopard-B, M.V BBC Quebec, M.V Outrivaling-3, M.V Sierra-II, M.T Al Salam-II, M.T Gas Elixir, M.T SC Shanghai, are currently occupying berths to load/ offload Cement, Containers, Palm Oil, Project Cargo, Steel Product, Diesel oil, LPG.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume of 99215 tonnes, comprising 85105 tonnes import and 14110 tonnes export and 2021 TUES was handled during the last 24 hours.
M.T SC Shanghai sailed on Saturday afternoon. M.T Gas Elixir sailed on Sunday morning.
M.V Maersk Missouri at QICT, M.T Al-Buiiaria at FOTCO, M.T SC Stealth at LCT, were expected to take berth on Sunday.
