  • Italian government have already allowed the players to train individually from May 04 whereas teams can start training collectively from May 18th.

It looks like Serie A clubs are determined on finishing the 2019-2020 season, with reports suggest that the clubs have made unanimous decision on it.

Earlier this week, Italian sports minister Vincenzo Spadafora said the government could end the season if they do not reach an agreement with the league over the medical protocols needed to restart matches.

Like every other sport, football is being immensely affected due to the coronavirus outbreak as all the major leagues and competitions have been either cancelled or postponed.

Some governments have decided to ban all sporting events till August and September leading to a premature end of French and Dutch leagues.

On Friday as per Sky Sports, all the 20 clubs in Italy’s top division have expressed their desire ‘unanimously’ to finish the 2019-20 season.

Italian government have already allowed the players to train individually from May 04 whereas teams can start training collectively from May 18th.

No a single match of Serie A have been played since March 9 due to coronavirus outbreak which initialed from the city of Wuhan in China late last year.

Italy remains one of the most affected countries in the world from the deadly bug with more than 27,000 people were killed whereas over 200,000 have been officially infected.
