Philip Morris resumes operations at Sahiwal with SOPs implemented

• The company added that it has in place, established SOPs in line with the provincial directives and has taken all relevant measures to ensure the safety of its employees.

Philip Morris Pakistan Limited has resumed operations at its factory in Sahiwal, Punjab, the company announced on Thursday.

“Philip Morris (Pakistan) Limited (“the Company”) factory in Sahiwal is operational as of April 29, 2020,” stated Philip Morris in its filing at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The company added that it has in place, established SOPs in line with the provincial directives and has taken all relevant measures to ensure the safety of its employees.

A number of companies including textile mills and refineries have partially or wholly resumed their operations in Pakistan, amid ease down in lockdown restriction by the authorities.
