Kashmir Committee Chairman Syed Fakhar Imam and Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar strongly condemned the savagery of Indian army in the Indian Occupied Kashmir and thanked the people for observing the Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 5.

During a meeting held here on Saturday, the Chief Minister said that the Indian atrocities cannot suppress the passion of freedom from the heart of brave Kashmiris. He further said that it is a matter of great regret that the Indian army has locked down the occupied Kashmir for 188 days and international community is still silent over this issue.

He maintained that the international community will have to play its role for avoiding major tragedy in the Indian held Kashmir. "Silence by the international community on this hot issue is criminal negligence and their silence on the Indian barbarianism has no justification," he added.

According to him, Modi 'sarkar' by adopting illegal and unconstitutional tactics has turned the occupied Kashmir into a world largest prison. India has violated democratic and constitutional norms in the occupied Kashmir. So-called democratic and secular face of India has been exposed in all over the world. Pakistan will always stand beside the Kashmiris brethren and no force can stop the Pakistani nation to support the Kashmiri people.

Kashmir Committee Chairman Syed Fakhar Imam said that freedom is the right of the Kashmiri people and the international community will have to play its role over the blatant human rights violation in the occupied Kashmir. "Success will become destiny of the Kashmiri people. We will not step back on the Kashmir cause," he added.
