The Punjab government has allowed the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) to borrow a loan of Rs15 billion from the Asian Investment Bank, said sources.
They said the Housing department had forwarded a summary to the Chief Minister Punjab that has been approved accordingly. The Cabinet Committee on Finance and Development has formally approved the summary, they added.
