Pakistan cricket star Shahid Afridi alongside some of the biggest names of Pakistan cricket team will be seen in action at the Global T20 League Canada, scheduled to begin from 25th of July in Canada.

The former Pakistan cricket star will be representing the Brampton Wolves, Afridi would play alongside fellow teammate Wahab Riaz. Other Pakistani cricketers in the tournament include: Umar Akmal (Winnipeg Hawks), Shoaib Malik (Vancouver Knights), Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz (Edmonton Royals).

Other big names set to make their appearance include Brandon McCullum (also at the Nationals), Chris Gayle, Andre Russel (both Vancouver Knights), Sunil Narine, Fawad Ahmed (Montreal Tigers), Chris Lynn, Dwayne Bravo (Winnipeg Hawks), Kane Williamson, Faf du Plessis (Edmonton Royals) and Shakib al Hasan.

The second edition of the six-team, 22 match tournament kicks off in Brampton near Toronto on July 25th.
