'Avengers: Endgame' is returning to theatres with some new footage

‘Avengers: Endgame’ is coming back to theaters with some new footage, as per Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. The movie is also eyeing top spot, which is currently owned by ‘Avatar’.

"I don't know if it's been announced. And I don't know how much, Yeah, we're doing it next weekend," Feige told ComicBook.

In a separate interview with Screen Rant, Feige said it won't be an extended cut, but rather “if you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there'll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises,” he said. Feige did not specify the additional scenes, but they will add a bit more to a run time that is already more than three hours.

This re-release will give the iconic superhero film another chance at breaking Avatar's world record. ‘Endgame’ has already grossed US$2.74 billion worldwide since its April release, while 2009's Avatar leads with an all-time record of US$2.788 billion.
