ABIDJAN: Cocoa arrivals at ports in top grower Ivory Coast reached 2.051 million tonnes between Oct. 1 and June 16, exporters estimated on Monday, up about 12 percent from 1.829 million tonnes during the same period last season.

About 19,000 tonnes of beans were delivered to Abidjan port and 15,000 tonnes to San Pedro between June 10 and June 16 for a total of 34,000 tonnes, up from 31,000 tonnes during the same week last season.

Ivory Coast's 2018/19 October-to-March main crop ended with 1.660 million tonnes on March 31, according to CCC official data.

Cocoa beans arrivals at the ports of Abidjan and San Pedro reached 412,000 tonnes between the start of the mid-crop on April 1 and June 16, up from 336,000 tonnes during the same period last season.
