Complaint filed against Aditya Pancholi for 'abusing' Kangana

Veteran Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi has been charged with a case of 'assault and exploitation' by Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli. A complaint has been filed by Rangoli which stated that the actor exploited and abused Kangana, a decade ago.

For the ones unaware, Kangana had earlier accused Pancholi of sexual and physical abuse in one of her old interviews.

The police began the investigation after they received an email regarding an incident that happened 13 years ago. The Versova police is trying to find evidence to register an FIR against Pancholi, PinkVilla reported.

Pancholi has also filed a defamation case against the renowned actor last month. The ‘Yes Boss’ actor claims that complainant's lawyer threatened him with a false rape case.

"Reacting to the defamation case, Kangana, Rangoli and their lawyer, Rizwan Siddique, decided to file the complaint. Siddique even threatened me with a rape case on January 6, 2019.” Speaking about the proof of videos and phone recordings, he further stated, "I submitted my application with the police against Siddique, Kangana and Rangoli earlier this month. I have submitted the video in the police station and court. Rape is the worst kind of crime that can happen [to any woman].",” Pancholi told Mid-Day.

In 2017, Kangana revealed in several interviews that Pancholi kept her confined to the house and she had to escape by jumping off her first-floor window. She also accused Pancholi of sexually and physically abusing her at the early stage of her career.
