RAWALPINDI: The Special Court Customs Tuesday disposed of a money laundering case against model Ayan Ali after writing letter to Ministry of Interior for obtaining Red warrant against her.
According to details, as hearing started the Judge Special Court Customs Arshad Hussain Bhutta after hearing the arguments from defence and prosecution counsel and recording the statements of all witnesses has written a letter to Interior Ministry for bringing back the model Ayan Ali and disposed of the case.
Earlier a special customs court on March 8 has declared model Ayyan Ali a proclaimed offender in Currency smuggling case. Ayan Ali was arrested by Custom officials on March 14, 2015 from Benazir Bhutto International Airport and $508,000 were recovered from her.
