KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim on Friday carrying containers at QICT and diesel oil at FOTCO, a port statement issued here Saturday said.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 57 percent at the Port Qasim on Friday where a total of Eight ships namely, M.V Flodrida-II, M.V Safmarine Nigami, M.V Hanjin Elzabeth, M.V MSC Maria, M.T Chem Road Vega, M.T Athina, M.V Arrilah, M.V Lion are currently occupying berths to load/ offload cement, containers palm oil rice, diesel oil, fertilizer was handled at Port Qasim last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port Qasim where a cargo volume 79907 tonnes comprising 35710 tonnes import, 44197 tonnes export 4143 (TUES) was handled at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
M.V Hanjin Elzabeth, M.V Flodrida-II sailed on Friday afternoon M.V Safmarine Ngami sailed on Saturday morning.
