In pictures: Sneak peek into Priyanka Chopra’s first pre-wedding function
After Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra will be the next to tie the knot with fiancé Nick Jonas in December, the celebrations for which have been kick-started with a bridal shower on Sunday.
The party was hosted in New York reportedly by the bride-to-be’s close friends Mubina Rattonsey and Anjula Acharia. Hollywood celebs such as Kelly Ripa, Lupita Nyong’o and her future sister-in-law Danielle Jonas and her daughter Alena were on the guest list.
Talking to paparazzi outside the NYC venue, the actor said she was so much excited for the party. PeeCee posted a picture with her friends on Instagram stories and caption it, “My girls are in town #preweddingcelebrations”.
Priyanka’s stylist Mimi Cuttrell also posted a picture of PeeCee on Instagram and captioned it as ‘the bride’.
Priyanka looked like a vision at the bridal shower, which was held at Tiffany's Blue Box cafe. The actress looked stunning wearing beautiful white strapless Marchesa gown with featured detailing on her skirt as she topped it with beige shoes and a beautiful diamond necklace.

Although Deepika and Ranveer Singh have made an official announcement regarding the date of their wedding ceremony that will be held in mid-November, PeeCee is yet to reveal the confirmed dates and make an official announcement regarding her rumored December wedding. Rumor has it that PeeCee will tie the knot on December 2 in Jodhpur, India.
