Following the directives of Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has accelerated the inspection of water filter plants in the province and sent samples collected from 18 water filter plants to the laboratory (for comprehensive analysis on Friday.
The raiding teams of the Authority also sealed a hotel on poor hygiene arrangements and imposed fine on 12 other food outlets. According to details released by the PFA, its teams collected samples from different water filter plants situated in various areas of the provincial metropolis during surprise inspection and sent those samples to the laboratory for comprehensive analysis.
