On Wednesday, BRIndex30 opened at 25,709.90 points. It touched an intraday high of 25,930.29 points and an intraday low of 25,528.53 points and closed at 25,905.94 points which was 196.04 points or 0.76 percent higher than previous close. Total volume was 175,585,400, which was 48.67 percent of KSE All share volume and 87.34 percent of KSE 100 volume. The KSE All Share volume was 360,776,730 and KSE 100 volume was 201,035,510.
BR Commercial Banks Index closed at 9,035.96 points with a net positive change of 60.57 points or a percentage change of 0.67 and a total turnover of 43,840,200 shares. BR Cement Index closed at 8,533.02 points with a net positive change of 82.57 points or a percentage change of 0.98 and a total turnover of 36,678,150 shares. BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 4,816.73 points with a net positive change of 114.17 points or a percentage change of 2.43 and a total turnover of 36,369,150 shares.
BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 1,458.72 points with a net positive change of 24.56 points or a percentage change of 1.71 and a total turnover of 49,028,500 shares. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 8,055.25 points with a net positive change of 20.54 points or a percentage change of 0.26 and a total turnover of 15,827,800 shares.
