Video: Painter Muhammad Arif makes his singing debut on-stage

Internet sensation, who went viral on social media for his voice, Muhammad Arif has made his singing debut on-stage at Aima Baig’s Independence Day function in Lahore on Tuesday.

The painter was earlier captured in viral video singing Bollywood songs such as ‘Channa Mereya’ and ‘Khamoshian’ and his voice touched many. Coke Studio singer Aima gave Arif his big break by allowing him to open her concert.

Aima’s manager and sister Komal, told a local media, “Let’s be clear that it is not a collaboration. They aren’t singing a duet yet. Arif will be opening Aima’s concert in Lahore on Independence Day this year”.

Soon after Pakistan’s Independence Day function on August 14, a new video featuring Muhammad Arif making his debut on-stage went viral. He can be seen singing Pakistani patriotic song ‘Ae Mere Pyare Watan’, along with some Bollywood songs which made him popular on social media.

Pakistan’s famous make artist Nabila also gave him a makeover for his first ever public appearance in Lahore.
