KARACHI: Shipping activity remained active at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours, where two ships carrying chemical and diesel oil were allotted berths at SSGC Terminal FOTCO Terminal respectively on Monday, January, 23.
Meanwhile four more ships carrying containers, edible oil and diesel oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 45 percent at the Port on Tuesday where total number of five ships namely M.V Leopard-B, LA Paloma, M.V Ataman, Rio Gracia and M.V Al-Soor-II are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, rice, canola seed, LPG Mix and diesel oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 34,356 tonnes, comprising 28,072 tonnes imports and 6284 tonnes exports was handle at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V Rio Gracia sailed out to see on Tuesday morning.
