Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor to reunite on-screen after 7 years

After the success of her last film ‘Veere Di Wedding’, Kareena Kapoor has signed up for another movie titled ‘Salute’, which will reunite her on-screen with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan after seven year.

‘Salute’ is based on the life of an Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma, the only Indian who has ever traveled to space. According to a report in DNA, the actress has finally said yes to SRK's movie.

“Kareena has been finalised to play Rakesh Sharma’s wife Madhu and will soon be signing for the project. As well as remuneration and dates, other things need to be worked out before an official announcement is made,” an Indian media quoted an insider as saying.

Kareena was initially not impressed with her character and wanted it to be as strong as that of SRK in the film. When the makers agreed to her demand, the actress reportedly signed the dotted line.

Both the superstars were last seen together on the big screen seven years ago in 'Ra.One'. On the other hand, recently there other were reports of Kareena being finalized for Karan Johar’s next opposite Akshay Kumar.
