BAKU: Azerbaijan increased its oil production by 2.4 percent in the first quarter of 2018 year on year to 9.7 million tonnes, Azeri state energy company SOCAR said on Monday.
Gas output grew 5.2 percent to 7.3 billion cubic metres, SOCAR said.
In March alone, crude output rose 5.8 percent while gas production was up 12 percent year-on-year.
