KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where four ships, BGS Bimini, Kian, OBE Lotus and Evangelia-D scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Grain Terminal, Port Qasim Electric Power Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal on 29th Sept.
Meanwhile three more ships, APL Antwerp, Peonia and Alisa-1 carrying Container, Palm oil and LPG also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, BGS Bimini, Patroklos-I and Jhon-K expected to sail on Wednesday.
Cargo volume of 197,273 tones comprising 151,239 tones imports cargo and 46,043 export cargo carried in 3,369 Containers (1,608 TEUs Imports & 1,761 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 18 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, APL Antwerp, Mustang and Alisa carrying Container, Gasoline and LPG are expected to take berths QICT, FOTCO and SSGC respectively on Wednesday 30th September, 2026.
