KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where three ships, GFS Pride, Tauranga Maersk and Bai Chay Bridge carrying Container, berthed at Qasim International Bulk Terminal on 13th September.
Meanwhile seven more ships, HTK Phoenix, EL Bella, Maria Majesty, Lila Evia, Corona, Carpe Diem and Yasa Sun scheduled to load/offload Cement/Rice, Palm oil, Chick Peas and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hour.
A total of twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them four ships, Sanana, Tauranga Maersk, Bai Chay Bridge and GFS Pride left the port on Monday morning, while three more ships, Serengeti Park, Zheng He-3 and Meghna Star are expected to sail on Monday.
Cargo volume of 175,913 tones comprising 142,702 tones imports cargo and 33,213 export cargo carried in 3,357 Containers (2,412 TEUs Imports & 945 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 23 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, HTK Phoenix, Roama-18, Bangkok Chemi, Sirtaki and Chris GR & another ship ‘MSC Palak’ scheduled to load/offload Cement/Rice, Palm oil, Chemicals, Gasoline, Coal and Container are expected to take berths MW-2, LCT, EVTL, FOTCO, PIBT and QICT respectively on Monday 14th September, 2026.
