KARACHI: IBA Karachi and DHA Islamabad– Rawalpindi have entered an important collaboration in the field of education. The groundbreaking ceremony for IBA Karachi’s Islamabad Campus was held in DHA Islamabad Phase 5.

Dr S Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director, IBA Karachi, the Administrator of DHA Islamabad, along with experts and officials from various academic fields, attended the ceremony.

“IBA Karachi-Islamabad Campus will prove to be an important milestone for Pakistan’s education sector, said Dr S Akbar Zaidi.

The establishment of the campus will provide students from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the northern regions with access to education of international standards.

Islamabad Campus will play an important role in preparing capable future leaders.

The campus has the potential to become a prominent center of higher education in the region.

Academic excellence, human capital development, and leadership development are among the key objectives of this joint initiative, said Dr. S Akbar Zaidi.

It will include a modern Academic Block, Research Block, Library, and Auditorium.

IBA Karachi - Islamabad Campus will also provide modern sports and residential facilities for students.

Islamabad Campus will advance IBA’s vision of knowledge, research, and practical impact, while creating new opportunities for collaboration with academic and industry institutions, said Dr S Akbar Zaidi.

Punjab government should provide land and funding to establish campuses of IBA and Ghulam Ishaq khan institute in any other district except Lahore.
