HYDERABAD: The Constituent College of Government College University Hyderabad (GCUH) was formally inaugurated, marking the official commencement of academic activities and regular classes for students.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Moazzam Ali Khan inaugurated the Constituent College. Speaking on the occasion, he said the university would give special attention to providing quality education and creating better academic opportunities for students.
He said the college would be developed into a model educational institution, providing students with a conducive learning environment, improved facilities and quality teaching opportunities.
He added that the college would carry forward the traditions and achievements of its past. The vice chancellor expressed hope that students would remain focused on their studies and make the most of the educational opportunities available to them. Speaking on the occasion, Amin Yousuf, a member of the college’s Board of Governors and Secretary of the Alumni Association, highlighted the achievements of the college’s talented former students who had excelled in their respective fields and made significant contributions in practical life.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Board of Governors of Government College Kali Mori Hyderabad, including Professor Dr Nilofer Sheikh, Professor Dr Abdul Qadir Rajput and Amin Yousuf; Alumni Association President Dr Ashfaq Qureshi; Brigadier Amir Zahid; Abdul Rehman Rajput; deans; college principal; heads of departments; directors; faculty members; and students.
